Patricia Kyritsi Howel, RH(AHG) has 30 years of experience as a practicing herbalist and teacher. Her book, Medicinal Plants of the Southern Appalachians, is an essential reference for herbalists. She is director of the BotanoLogos School of Herbal Studies and has served as Herbalist in Residence at the Foxfire Museum and Heritage Center, both here in Rabun County.
