ABOUT US
Experience the magic...
The Parker Ranch was built in 1907 as the Atlanta LeCraw family’s summer home. The lodge inherently imbues a sense of peaceful, old-fashioned enjoyment. Sometime mid-century, the Parkers purchased the property, named it the Parker Ranch and rented ‘Tourist Rooms’ with home-cooked meals. A few iterations later, here we are… back at the Ranch.
About a mile from downtown, we are nestled in the privacy of 14 acres of sheltering trees and mountain breezes. Whether you are coming to dine at Clayton’s famous farm-to-table restaurants, to hit the hiking trails or to fish our bountiful mountain streams, we’d love to have you stay with us.
So come experience all that Rabun County has to offer, then head back to the ranch, settle in on our covered porches and listen to the birds sing or curl up by the fire with a good book. Your only interruption may be the occasional sound of a screen door closing ... music to the ear.
Check our Workshops page to join us for writing, photography, yoga, fly fishing...
You name it... we'll have something fun going on.
We also host retreats, reunions and weddings. The lodge has a wonderful oak-paneled greatroom with a huge stone fireplace which is perfect for cozy evenings. The beautiful beadboard dining hall will accommodate large groups for catered meals or classes.
We hope to see you soon.
